This week on Casual Nerds, Hollywood served up more drama than an actual script.

• Avengers: Doomsday – Rumors say RDJ and Ryan Reynolds went full diva slap-fight, and Marvel’s solution was possibly: “Bet, you two don’t play together anymore.”
• Weapons – Marketed as horror, served as thriller, garnished with awkward laughs. Half the crowd called it movie of the year, the other half wanted refunds.
• Stephen King – Turns out childhood trauma makes for a hell of a career move. The Long Walk and The Life of Chuck are next up on the adaptation conveyor belt.
• Batman 2 – Robin might get shoved in to make the DCU fit, but we’re not buying it. Gunn’s vision vs. studio meddling = chaos incoming.
• MCU Gossip – Tramell Tillman joins Spider-Man, Florence Pugh might be back with her widow’s bite, and Jonathan Majors is apparently still on Marvel’s Christmas card list.
